About Us
Our organization is called Rubies, and is designed to help girls realize their true value, their unique design, and to help them become women with character
that are truly “worth far more than rubies.”
Rubies Girls’ Clubs
… is an organization that has been designed to train girls, ages 8-18, to realize their true value, their unique design, and to become women of character, based on Proverbs 31:10-31 and Titus 2.
This program is not just about learning to cook and sew; it is a complete study of the Proverbs 31 woman. A Proverbs 31 woman was much more than a cook and a seamstress; she was a leader, businesswoman, entrepreneur, gardener, home-decorator and community worker. The girls in the Rubies program are introduced to all of these skills and more through study of the Proverbs 31 verses while participating in fun and exciting camps, classes and much more with other amazing Rubies Girls.
Classes (on a variety of core values) are offered on a monthly basis, as well as week-long summer camps every year. At the end of each summer camp, the girls get the opportunity to share what they’ve learned or made throughout the week. This is done through a mother-daughter tea or garden party on the last day. Girls who attend summer camps are also eligible to attend the monthly classes that are held throughout the rest of the year.
Our prayer for the future is that many Rubies clubs will be started across the U.S. in many churches and communities! This website can help you begin the process! Just think what the girls can learn from the many women of our churches!
Vision Statement
Our vision is to discover tomorrow’s strong, noble, and empowered women by inspiring, guiding, and mentoring today’s girls.
Our girls learn about sewing, gardening, cooking, personal hygiene, fashion, interior design, and more through first-hand experiences.
Our educational methods are full of innovation and creativity, and are executed with excellence.
Our curriculum is Bible-based, specifically on Proverbs 31:10-31 and Titus 2, will instill godly qualities, and will inspire the girls to develop a deeper relationship with their Creator.
Motto
“Created to be Creative”
God is the most creative being to ever exist. His handiworks are perfectly made and fit for eternity. When He designed humans, He made them in His own image (Genesis 1:27).
In resembling Him we too are designed to create. As we make, design, and explore creativity, we are testifying of His character and drawing attention to His glory. In this way, we have been “Created to be Creative”!
